A contemporary art festival held in the Iturralde district. Artists are invited to create specific projects both in public spaces and in shops, educational institutions, museums, etc. or in collaboration with existing associations such as Mujeres del mundo Babel. Workshops and activities are scheduled to take place throughout the week and there will also be various street installations. Iturfest is a festival with, for and in neighbourhood, for those who live, pass through or work there. Iturfest aims to bring contemporary art and culture closer to everyday life, moving away from the usual cultural centres and promoting alternative perspectives that make us question the default. At Iturfest we share everyday space and time, from and with art.
